What could be worse than being left at the altar? How about if the man you are about to marry stops in the middle of his vows and says he is in love someone else?! Well, Jefferson did just that at his wedding ceremony, and it melted everyone’s, heart! In Portugal, Jefferson and Jessica had fallen in love and got married.
The ceremony was going well until Jefferson admitted that he loved someone else. They say honesty is the best policy, but his timing was a little off – right? When Jefferson turned around, he pointed to Jessica’s eight-year-old daughter, Giovanna.
Jefferson said that he wasn’t just saying the vows for Jessica, but he was promising to love and care for Giovanna too! After saying his vows to Jessica, Jefferson listed out all the things he promised to do for Giovanna!
As you can see in the photo, Giovanna was happy to hear that Jefferson would love her and make sure nothing bad ever happened to her! Giovanna thanked her new dad and gave him a big hug! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Even if you don’t speak Portuguese, you can tell by the expressions on everyone’s faces that the moment was powerful and won’t be forgotten!
