In India, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is renowned for its cutting-edge functions. According to a source, the instant messaging service is now introducing picture-in-picture mode for video conversations on iOS.
The Verge and 9to5Mac both recently noted that WhatsApp is launching picture-in-picture features for iPhone users. According to reports, the feature permits users to continue using other apps uninterrupted while on video calls.
Users of WhatsApp on iOS can limit their video call to a tiny window that sits above any program by using the picture-in-picture functionality, allowing them to continue working while making video calls. This will enable customers to take part in calls while they browse the web, play games, or obtain pertinent information for their calls.
Will Cathcart, the head of WhatsApp, has criticized Telegram for its security procedures. End-to-end encryption for calls and chats is allegedly provided by Telegram, which markets itself as a privacy-focused platform. Cathcart drew attention to the fact that Telegram’s default setting does not enable this security feature.
In his answer to a Wired piece, the head of WhatsApp implied that Telegram may reveal almost any sensitive information in response to a government request. “Telegram is not end-to-end encrypted by default and does not offer e2ee for groups,” Cathcart tweeted.”
And he said, “They (Telegram) have established another API that seems to provide access to user content for mass monitoring,” to his tweet.”
