Prior to the premiere of “Pink Ladies,” Paramount+ releases the music video for “Grease is the Word.”

A music video from Paramount+’s newest Grease prequel, Rise of the Pink Ladies, has the cast performing “Grease is the Word” and dancing through a drive-in theater.

More than 300,000 people have watched the almost 4-minute peek since it was uploaded to YouTube on Thursday.

The program, which is set in 1954 California, will debut on the streaming platform on April 6.In addition to Jackie Hoffman playing Miss McGee, the film also stars Marisa Davila, Cheyenne Isabel Wells, Ari Notartomaso, Tricia Fukuhara, Shanel Bailey, Madison Thompson, Johnathan Nieves, Jason Schmidt, and Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as Rydell High students.

Oliver Newton and John Travolta John played Danny Zuko in the first Grease, a 1978 musical film.

Grease 2, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield, was released as a sequel in 1982.
