All that City Ridge will experience

On Wisconsin Avenue near Tenleytown, City Ridge is starting to come alive after about four years of construction.

Why it’s important Originally the Fannie Mae campus, the $715 million, 10-acre facility is revitalizing an upper Northwest region that had not seen much redevelopment in the previous ten years as developers went south and east. 690 apartment apartments spread across four buildings. 40% are already rented, according to Richard Lake, principal of Roadside Development, to Axios.

Apartments at The Branches, The Coterie, Crescendo, and Botanica provide live-work-play features like rooftop patios, exercise centers, and co-working spaces. Prices range from $2,556 for a one-bedroom to $10,120 for a three-bedroom corner unit. A greenhouse on top of one of the structures and golf simulators in the common areas are two additional surprises. The headquarters of CAVA have moved in.

The historical structure in front of the construction is home to the International Baccalaureate Americas headquarters.

A co-working facility has been established by the co-working business Industrious.

As predicted by Lake:

In the fall, Equinox intends to open a 30,000-square-foot health club. Taco Bamba plans to open in the summer. Construction on King Street Oyster Bar begins this summer. In addition to operating a restaurant and bar at the Ridge Pool Club, a members-only club atop one of the apartment buildings, chef Michael Mina, owner of Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons Hotel, will open an Italian restaurant next to Wegmans. The final retail space will house a nearby Thai eatery.
