We delve into the tumultuous world of the infamous and hypocritical couple, Harry and Meghan Markle.
It seems that Meghan is preparing for a split, keeping herself distanced from the truly terrible things that have been said. Some may disagree with this perspective, but let’s examine the situation. The Simmons statement labeled them as grifters, but who was specifically named?
Who announced the car chase? Who sat in the back seat of the cab, looking terrified? Who released that ludicrous book and whose name is plastered on the cover? Who exposed all those damning details in print? Who granted revealing interviews?
And let’s not forget who has been so open about their drug use and mental health status. Whose visa is being questioned? Who sued the British government and lost? Who made a fool of themselves in the witness box? Who declared changing the British press to be their life’s work?
Who made the ill-received appearance at the coronation, lacking civility toward their own family? Who has had public outbursts and complained about their family’s treatment? Who receives the majority of criticism for how the Sussexes handled Prince Philip and the late Queen?
Who shouted, “I demand an apology! The press is out to destroy my wife, my wife, my wife!” and appeared as a somewhat unhinged individual? That would be Harry. And from whom did Meghan hear the story about Archie’s skin color?
Ultimately, who failed to provide her with help during her suicidal crisis? Who will Meghan blame for not warning her about life in the royal family? And who will bear the brunt of public scrutiny if a divorce occurs? Once again, it’s Harry, who has managed to distance himself from all this insanity.
On the other hand, Meghan has carefully avoided the worst of these situations. She made subtle suggestions and expressed disapproval of Harry’s book. She did not come to his defense or stand by his side during the book fiasco or court testimony. She has never made any public statements about the car chase.
While Harry appeared crazed, Meghan remained composed. Even Doria fell asleep, seemingly uninterested. Meghan has remained silent about the lawsuits, the coronation invitation, the book, the interviews, the drug use, the visa, and most recently, the royal family. She has made a point of keeping her distance from the most absurd elements of it all.
Sure, she has flirted with the edges in her magazine interviews and participated in the Netflix dramedy. However, it’s important to note that the Netflix series was contractually obligated, and Meghan distanced herself from that ridiculous parody before it aired. The Invictus documentary may receive criticism, but Harry’s name is attached to it as well. Meghan may have given the headline-making Oprah interview, but that feels like a distant memory to the public, where she portrayed herself as the pregnant victim.
While Meghan made nasty and unverified accusations about the royal family in the past, she seems to have moved on. In fact, it appears that she has moved on from Harry himself, as they now live separate lives. She has to maintain her distance.
In his book, Harry shared outrageous statements about his war experiences. Now, as a consequence, he has received threats from terrorists, endangering the lives of children and even his own. The undeniable truth is that we know just how terrible and absurd Meghan can be. However, will the rest of the public see it the same way?
While we recognize her as a grifter and social climber, if Meghan sheds tears about an abusive and drug-addicted husband, the majority of the public may sympathize with her. The rumors surrounding Dior, her questionable fashion choices, staged pregnancy photos, and lies about the royal family might fade into the background.
Meghan, on the other hand, will have her name and image plastered all over the news. Oprah might even consider another sit-down interview to discuss Harry’s flawed character, mental health struggles, drug use, and how life within the royal family supposedly shattered him, broke Meghan’s heart, and scarred their innocent children.
Though Meghan may be a terrible person, she isn’t perceived as a crazed drug addict who mistreats her children. In fact, it’s his very own wife who forced Harry to leave their home in an effort to shield their little ones from the worst of it all. Meghan’s ride may be relatively short, but she might earn a substantial sum of money from her troubles.
The royal family, once again, will face embarrassment, and as an added bonus, they’ll be burdened with a thoroughly disgraced son. Imagine the headlines: “Will the Royal Family Take Poor, Troubled Harry Back? Is King Charles So Heartless? And What About the Children? Is the Abundantly Wealthy King Unwilling to Support His Abused Wife and Grandchildren?”
Perhaps Harry will attempt to return to the UK, but he will likely never be completely forgiven by his brother or the British public. No one will forget how he made the late Queen’s final years so challenging. He is doomed to live the rest of his life as a ghostly royal, akin to his Uncle Andrew, existing but kept in the shadows, never seen at official royal events.
The future of the monarchy lies with William and Catherine, and William’s priorities are his wife and children. Harry, however, remains fixated on the past—his lost mother, sibling jealousy, and a paranoid hatred of the press. He has decades of regret ahead of him, and he will likely continue turning to drugs and alcohol to numb his pain. Will there ever come a day when he wakes up and realizes the magnitude of his folly? So far, that realization has eluded him.
In contrast, Megan’s future appears brighter than what lies ahead for Harry. It is doubtful that she ever truly loved him. Even in the early stages of their relationship, she displayed disrespect by talking over him and pushing ahead to meet people. He was nothing more than a stepping stone, a useful pawn. She already feels, quite rightly, that his behavior is damaging her brand and holding her back.
Without a second thought, she will discard him and then proceed to leverage her position as the mother of the King’s grandchildren for her own benefit. Say what you will about Megan, but she will always have control over two of the King’s grandchildren, a prince and a princess, no less. She will forever be their mother.
Her life was set when Archie was born. She possesses a knack for manipulating Harry, evident from the fact that her supporters are primarily older individuals—Oprah, Ellen, Gail, Tyler Perry, Gloria Steinem, Carrie Kennedy, Ari Emmanuel, and the Democratic Leadership, all belonging to that age group.
Hence, she may find an aging figure, perhaps a political version of Gloria Steinem, to support her cause. Interestingly, she doesn’t seem to have a single famous friend or supporter younger than 60. It appears that until Harry retires, we’ll be stuck with her, continuously finding some older person to deceive.
Harry represents the last generation that witnessed the monarchy when it truly held immense significance. Their connection to the institution is more profound than those who came after them.
The older generations, who have a stronger connection to the monarchy and hold it in higher regard, perceive Meghan as more significant compared to other generations. They view her actions and choices through a different lens, giving her a greater importance.
If a highly publicized and disastrous divorce were to occur, it would undoubtedly become the performance of Meghan’s lifetime, providing a feast for the media. The press would revel in the scandalous details for months on end. Knowing how Americans love a juicy scandal, Meghan would likely prolong the proceedings for as long as possible, ensuring maximum attention and intrigue.
