The Georgia grand jury in charge of looking into attempts to rig the 2020 election confirmed that the jury recommended indictments.
Driving the news: In an interview that aired Tuesday on NBC News’ “Nightly News,” Emily Kohrs stated, “There are definitely names that you would recognize, yeah.”
According to NBC News, Kohrs refused to name anyone because the judge who oversaw the grand jury had ordered him not to.

Asked by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about Trump’s claim that the sealed jury report totally exonerated him, Kohrs burst out laughing and asked: “Did he really say that? Oh, that’s fantastic. That’s phenomenal. I love it.”
She also indicated that there are more than a dozen people included.
“I don’t think that there are any giant plot twists coming,” Kohrs added. “I don’t think there’s any giant ‘That’s not the way I expected this to go at all’ moments.’”
Quick catch-up This week, a grand jury report was partially made public by an Atlanta judge, who stated that the jury thought one or more witnesses had lied under oath during the investigation.
Yet, the papers that were made public did not include any names or information about the suggestions for charges of election meddling.
The grand jury did disclose last week that their “recommendations on indictments and related statutes,” as well as the grand jurors’ votes on each, are included in the whole report, which is still kept a secret.
