Sheriff’s deputies in Michigan were called to a residence to remove a “unusual” burglary suspect—a deer.
Members of the Monitor Township family were reportedly at home on Monday when they heard the noises of a front window breaking, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
The family soon learned that a deer was running amok through their house.
The deer was in a bedroom when deputies arrived. A picture of the deer standing on the bed was released by the sheriff’s office.
The deer was referred to in the Facebook post as a “unusual B&E suspect.”
To help the deer be led from the bedroom to the front entrance, the deputies locked the doors to the remainder of the house’s rooms.
Fortunately, the deer and deputies were not hurt, and the family was unharmed.
