Butter boards, elaborate wooden boards with thin specialty sorts of butter constructed so well with fancy cutlery, are everywhere on social media. You’d think their designers were entering them in art competitions.
Being a mom of a 15-month-old, making and eating butter board was not feasible for my lifestyle. Like every other TikToker, I adore a charcuterie board. But, something about the butter board made my arteries itch. Also, I was unable to intentionally give that to my infant. And if my picky kid isn’t going to eat anything, what’s the point of cooking?
Enter the board with peanut butter.
Fortunately, my child does not have a peanut butter allergy. When I wanted to participate in the trend of butter boards in a (semi)

Ingredients:
a third of a cup of peanut butter
1 teaspoon butter made from pumpkin
Many Stroopwafel biscuits
Many Jo-with Jo’s a pumpkin theme
Several little pretzels
4 Graham crackers with cinnamon
Banana, one, diced
Directions:
On your charcuterie board, smear 1 tablespoon of peanut butter lengthwise.
Parallel to the peanut butter, spread 1 spoonful of the pumpkin butter.
The last tablespoon of peanut butter should be distributed parallel to the pumpkin butter.
Put the snack decorations all around your peanut butter/pumpkin butter stripes.

Naturally, there are a lot of healthier options available when making a peanut butter board. I would suggest celery, apples, or pieces of wheat toast.
Better still, this wasn’t difficult to clean! Once my toddler had dipped all the snacks in the peanut butter to only lick the dip off the treat and not eat the actual treat, I simply scraped the remaining butters into the trash and washed the wooden board under warm, soapy water.
