If you’re anything like me, it’s been challenging to be stuck indoors for so long! I’m used to interacting with people, and I miss my favorite exercise class (I love taking group classes!) Although we cannot alter the current situation, we can alter how we react to it. Even if I do enjoy a good movie day, being stranded at home doesn’t mean we have to spend the entire day on the couch; we can still move to feel our best.
You can discover some of our favorite home workouts (including programs and gym equipment alternatives) below, along with some advice for gym/fitness center-based workouts (if any are open and convenient for you). You can perform these exercises in the convenience of your own home! Select a workout plan to follow (the majority just require little equipment) OR buy home gym equipment and set it up in the garage or a spare room! In either case, moving your body will benefit your health in every way!
Click play on one of our favorite simple-to-follow programs, and your teacher will walk you through each step. This option is for someone who wants an easy way to stay active at home but doesn’t necessarily have hours to give up each day to work up a nice sweat (though the workouts are anything but!). As far as equipment is concerned, each program differs slightly, so check the particular program you’re interested in to find out exactly.
