A beer festival will once again be held in one of Warwick’s historic structures.
The annual Lord Leycester Beer Festival, also known as “LeycesterFest,” will take place on March 24 and 25, according to Warwick Court Leet.
The festival will be the first occasion held following the renovations and will be held in the Lord Leycester’s freshly restored medieval Great Hall. The area has frequently served as the backdrop for the filming of various TV shows, including Tom Hardy’s rendition of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and Shakespeare and Hathaway.
There will be 20 real ales, six ciders, and Prosecco available at the event.
All festival earnings go toward the restoration efforts and are organized by Warwick Court Leet on behalf of the Lord Leycester.
The hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on March 24 and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. (or until the bar runs out of alcohol, whichever comes first) on March 25.Torry’s DIY Store in West Street, the Warwick Visitor Information Center in Jury Street, and online at https://warwickbeerfestival.com are the places where tickets can be purchased.
The Warwick Beer Festival, which benefits regional charities, and the Warwick Vintage Vehicle Show are both put on by The Court Leet.
