For those looking for an Android phone with a fair pricing, a decent camera, and a modestly large screen, the Pixel 7 is a nice option.
It isn’t all that different from the Pixel 6, but that’s a positive thing since it demonstrates that Google adhered to the same successful formula it created last year, producing another well-rounded flagship Android phone that continues to undercut Apple and Samsung in pricing.
Google primarily concentrated on three key areas with the $599 (£599, AU$999) Pixel 7, which goes on sale on October 13.
These were the phone’s design, photographic capabilities, and the addition of new Pixel-exclusive software features. In addition to an additional telephoto camera and a bigger 6.7-inch screen, the more expensive Pixel 7 Pro costs $899.
Many of the features previously offered with the Pixel 6 are expanded upon and advanced with the Pixel 7. The Pixel 7 delivers a great balance of functionality, camera equipment, and cost. If you choose Samsung instead, the battery life can be greater and you’ll receive a further generation of Android OS software support. However, despite costing $599, the Pixel 7 still delivers a lot of value.
Pixel 7 design is like a more polished Pixel 6
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 have the same general design aesthetic. Once more, a horizontal bar running the length of the phone’s back clearly highlights the camera. However, the Pixel 7’s camera strip is built of metal rather than glass, which makes it seem much more striking.
With the Pixel 7, Google abandoned the two-tone design of the Pixel 6 in favor of a rear that is entirely covered in a single hue. Available colors for the Pixel 7 are snow (white), obsidian (black), and lemongrass (yellow). The color choice that feels the most interesting to me among the group is the lemongrass variant, which I’ve been utilizing.
