Selena Gomez Pays a Visit to Waverly Place from Her Classic Disney Channel Series ‘Where It All Began’

Selena Gomez is remembering her Disney Channel days.

The Only Murders in the Building star captioned a photo of herself in a casual beige sweater and patterned slacks looking up at the Waverly Place street sign, “Where it all began.”

The actress no doubt had good memories of the street in New York City. From 2007 through 2012, Gomez, 30, rose to fame as sarcastic and witty wizard Alex Russo on the Disney Channel TV show Wizards of Waverly Place.

The part launched her career, inspiring lead appearances in films such as Spring Breakers and Monte Carlo, as well as six studio albums featuring singles such as “Come & Get It” and “Lose You to Love Me.”

With a position straight out of The Breakfast Club, Efron captioned the photo, “Don’t you think… Leave me alone.”

While Hudgens posted a video of herself walking and posing in front of the high school, Break Free was playing in the background. She captioned the video with a famous line from her debut film, Gabriella Montez.
