Because of environmental and ethical issues, a vegan diet is in high demand in the West. The trend, however, is gaining traction in the Indian market.
According to a recent YouGov survey, India comes third in terms of veganism, trailing only the United States and the United Kingdom. According to the estimate, 65% of Indians will adopt a vegan diet by the end of 2022.
While customers of all ages are attempting to embrace the vegan lifestyle, millennials are attempting to incorporate sustainable and healthful foods into their everyday diets.
A vegan diet is beneficial to one’s health.
Jasmine Bharucha, who listed the health benefits of a vegan diet, stated that a well-planned vegan diet provides numerous health benefits. “According to several studies, vegan diets are high in potassium, magnesium, folate, and vitamins A, C, and E.”
They contain more fiber, antioxidants, and healthy plant chemicals. This is why vegan diets are effective in providing all of the essential nutrients required for a long and healthy life,” Bharucha added.
